My Mom, sister and I stayed here for a couple nights as part of our Galapagos tour . We had a 2 floor room (one bed room downstairs with the. bathroom) and upstairs with 2 single beds that had the balcony. This worked perfectly for us so our mom (who is in her 70s) had her own room downstairs with the bathroom and my sister and I slept upstairs. The view from the balcony was amazing, since we were right on the beach. You did have to go up several flights of steps for the buffet breakfast, but they would gladly allow you to dine at the outside tables for Lunch and dinner. Yes as someone mention, their would be bugs if you left food open in your rooms ( this would be expected in this type of remote location ). The food at the restaurant was good but the service was a little slow (again as expected in such a laid back area). Wi-Fi is spotting on the island in general, and was only available in the lobby area, and even there it was sometimes difficult to upload images to Facebook. But overall I really liked the hotel and would happily stay there again if so ever go back to Isabela island.

This hotel was charming. Service was excellent and the breakfast, although limited, was tasty. We didn't eat here in the evening and walked around the corner to the sleepy town with sand roads.
Toiletries provided including good conditioner. WiFi only worked in the reception area.
Located on a lovely, sandy beach, we had a lounge area reserved for Blanca suite. There was a huge bed, fridge with cola for $2 and beer for $4 and a dehumidifier.
A lovely stay with great snorkelling trips with sharks, rays and turtles. Carmen and Carlos were superb guides (Isabella Diving) both providing exact information about boobies, iguanas, sea lions, mangroves, sharks amongst many other flora, faunaand geology.

On a quiet beach with good swimming (a mix of calm and body surfing).
Very nice breakfast, and a open layout.
Quiet rooms.
The breakfast was a mix of hot and cold: Eggs/pancakes/etc. and cereal/fruit/yogurt/bread.

Isabela and Puerto Villamil are so laid back that the Main Street is made of sand.

But that doesn't stop La Casa de Marita from offering a place to rejuvenate in style. Even the rooms in the annex across the street are serene and calm.

One of a kind artwork covers the main house and even the annex rooms walls.

Family staff is courteous, efficient and helpful.

Wifi available at the standard Islands speed. Air-conditioning chills you fast. Rush hour is four bicyclers going by.

Bar and restaurant service at both third floor open-air room or at ground level in the bar area which opens directly onto white sand beach sheltered from direct waves by lava rock outcropping.

Walking distance to 'downtown' and ferry port.

We were booked here as part of a scuba diving trip and we loved it! The whole place is clean and well-appointed and is right on the beach. It's just a short walk to town or to the docks. The staff is both friendly and professional. And the food was delicious.
