We were on an organized tour of Galapagos Islands with a one day start in Quito. We spent 48 hours on Isabela Island and eat lunch both days at Isabela Grill. The price for our meal according to the blackboard on the street was $8 and included juice, a starter (soup), a main course and desert. I chose fish both times, (although pork and chicken also offered) and it was excellent. The juice was fresh, tropical, fresh squeezed and exotic. Both fried potatoes and rice plus a vegetable. Desert was fine, if not exciting. Service in English, very good and friendly.
The only negative is that at mid-day without air-conditioning, it was hot, despite the numerous fans blowing.
We had dinner at another place on the restaurant strip on Antonio Gil, and the Isabela Grill was much better.
It was a short walk from the Volcano Hotel where we were staying.
