You better come right when they open the food area or you will not have any food left. Skimpy , not a lot of good choices especially if you are vegetarian/pesce. Although location is good, you will not be satisfied with the food. And customer service? 2/10. I would not recommend.

We stayed at the Isabela Lodge this month. Take the negative reviews of the Redmangrove with a grain of salt as I was told that the hotel was sold and is now called the Isabela Lodge. The rooms are simple , clean and the air conditioner freezes you!
The rooms are right on the beach so that is a major plus.
WIFI is tough anywhere on the island, but I did manage to get connected from our room.
The service was more than adequate in maintaining lodges on the beach.
The breakfast served was outstanding.

The gentle sounds of the pacific lapping at the beach just steps away from our door were peaceful and idyllic. Breakfast at the main lodge was excellent, and service was attentive. What a great escape to rediscover what's important and to play jenga at midnight on the deck. Bliss!

The rooms at this lodge are basic, but they are clean. There is no television, and none of our group could connect to the WiFi. (Who goes to the Galapagos to watch TV or use WiFi anyway?) The best feature of this hotel is its location - right on a beautiful beach.

Room tip: A handful of rooms have a view of the beach.

We stayed here with family and friends and it was great! The hotel is right on the beach so the kids can play and look for sea life. We had coffee outside on the deck and walked the beach in the mornings, then enjoyed cocktails in the evening. The location is great- a short walk into town and to the ferry boats. The tours in Isabela were great as well. We were with our kids ages 9 to 13 and they all had a great time! The staff were lovely also. Ask for a room in front by the water if you can. All of the rooms are just steps to the ocean.
