We chose this hotel because of its access to a vaporetto stop which is right outside the premises as we were traveling with our cousin who uses a cane. It's beautiful, very comfortable and offers a nice breakfast. It is very expensive as it is on the Grand Canal. But the Cannaregio area is a great place to stay as there are many restaurants and businesses within easy walking distance. I'm sure the price would be less if we visited in the off season. And perhaps that the best time to visit Venice as it was very crowded in October.
