What a gem!! We (6 adults plus dog) enjoyed a brilliant week. 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and a well stocked kitchen, we couldn't ask for more. The cottage was spotlessly clean & even though there are lots of ornaments it was dust free. Great location.
Visited this stunning cottage as two families during half term.
We had an amazing time staying here the cottage has everything you need and is so welcoming.
The owner is also lovely and communication was great i also have to say she was very understanding when we had a mishap.
Can not recommend this cottage enough and Kettlewell is a fantastic part of Yorkshire.
Having stayed in Kettlewell previously, we already love the village. Renar cottage was the icing on the cake. It's beautiful. We've never stayed anywhere before that felt like we were looking after someone's home, it's that cosy, but we did with Renar. It's warm, homely, snug has lots of character and most importantly, a heart. It's perfectly located, very quiet, and the sound of the beck, birds and breeze through an open window is bliss. We loved listening to the owls each night and watching the sun go down over the fells. The cottage itself is packed full of space, the kitchen is gorgeous, and there's no shortage of anything at all. We loved all the sentiment of the cottage too, you can really feel that's its a home and that was very relaxing. Comfy bed, nice shower, plenty of storage, warm heaters, and thank you very much for the bottle of wine upon arrival. Correspondence from Janet has been excellent and it's been lovely to share some historical information about the cottage. The walks around Kettlewell cater for all, we walked from the village to Buckden along the beck and got the bus back, we hiked up to Hag Dyke passing Providence Pot and also nipped over the highest road in Yorkshire through Hubberholme to the Wensleydale creamery for cheese, not too far away. The Racehorses pub is lovely and the Bluebell Inn is equally as nice, such friendly people and dog friendly too. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Renar to anyone. For us, it's flawless!
Thank you!! :-)
A well presented family cottage in the heart of beautiful Kettlewell.
