We had a lovely relaxing stay at Mt Brandon Cottages – beautiful scenic views, easy access to Graiguenamanagh and Barrow River walks and just a beautiful environment.
The house was spotless with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Andrea was an attentive informative host with lots of tips for hidden gems in the area.
We really enjoyed a pottery class with Carmen – the pottery studio is just opposite the cottage.
In Graiguenamanagh we met lots of friendly and welcoming people especially the land lady at Gahans pub, we loved Marys Icecream, the Waterside Guesthouse for food and accommodation – part of our group stayed here and loved it, the Duiske Inn for dinner, Go With the Flow for Family White water Thrills and Spills was a big hit and Duiske Glass Gift Shop is just a shoppers dream...iced Coffee at the Daisy Chain is a must along with a browse, the Devils Menu for delectable food surprises and of course the Abbey with its beautiful stained glass windows..... so much to see and do here..... we haven’t seen it all..... thank you for a great week..... We hope to be back to enjoy the Cottages & local hospitality again.More
