Annabelle's house gives you the cosy authentic feel of a Yorkshire cottage. There's no traffic at all on the road which makes is very relaxing and I slept very well for this 3 days break away from the city. The garden is lovely and relaxing as well. Unless you are looking for a 4 star hotel with a swimming pool, Annabelle's house is the perfect choice to spend some quality time away from the city, close to the moors and the seaside. I strongly recommend it !

A lovely spot in a beautiful part of the British Isles - perfect for a break away with dogs and family !

We spent a long weekend at this charming period property - the weather was fantastic and the cottage is just 15 large steps away from the quaint Bay Horse pub where you can get a lovely pint. The cottage was really well appointed with everything you could need provided - happy family, happy dogs !

Well done to Annabelle and Steve - we hope to be back in the not too distant future....

Lovely cottage in a charming Yorkshire village. Cottage well presented and equipped, ideal for dogs. Village well located not far from Malton, Castle Howard, York sand other North Yorkshire attractions. Highly recommend.

“A little gem, in a quiet village but so much on your doorstep”

A lovely 2 bedroom cottage that is tastefully finished and equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. Easy parking out the front and lovely kitchen, bathroom, dining area and lounge room downstairs with a surprisingly large back garden too. 2 bedrooms upstairs, the large kingsize is lovely with a really comfy bed and quality linens and towels - had excellent nights sleep! plus a twin bedded room across the landing. Suited us perfectly but take a robe if travelling with friends as bathroom is located downstairs. Easy access into York for a day out and also to the seaside towns of Filey or Scarborough plus much more in between. Fabulous pub literally across the road but they only do food platters twice a week, so prepare to self cater or drive a short distance to other pubs if you want to have dinner out.
Thanks for a great stay - highly recommend the cottage,

lovely few days stay in rural yorkshire, we loved the peace and quiet in the village and really enjoyed the quaint property with its lovely cottage garden in full bloom, the smell of the roses wafted around the garden each evening. Convenient pub literally over the road, we would really recommend tuesday steak night. Village only 10 minutes from Malton for supermarkets and shopping. If you love gardens, you may wish to visit Scampston Walled Garden which was lovely and only 15 minutes down the road. Thank you for lettiing us stay, we would love to return as there is so much to see in this area.
