“Lovely”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

We had a lovely stay, we had a small double room but this was still more than enough space. The rooms are beautifully decorated, moden, clean and everything you want from a stay. The staff are all really freindly and helpfull. We had dinner in the main pub rather than the restaurant but this was great, we were near the log fire and with it been a bit chilly this time of year, it was lovely. My husband had the steak and although £20, it was worth it as melted in your mouth (i had to try a bit), I had the ribs and they were yummy too. Breakfast the next morning was nice, plated and a choice from a menu. We got a taxi into Hunstanton, the hotel arranged this and was £5 (assume this may change depending on the season). Overall a really nice hotel and would defenatly stay again.

Room Tip: We had a small double and paid less than the advertised rate, may be worth a haggel.

My boyfriend organised (with a little help) a valentines stay at The Lodge Inn on 11th Feb 2012. Initially I was sceptical about staying in somewhere which wasn't a 'hotel', but I read the reviews on Trip Advisor which reassured me - it certainly didn't prepare me for what we actually got!
We arrived around 3pm to check in for the weekend. The bar was buzzing an had an amazing atomsphere. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room - although we had booked a superior room, I certainly wasn't expecting a four poster bed! The room was amazing.
Dinner was also included on the package booked, which was to die for - both of us are quite difficult to please when it comes to food and drink, but I can honestly say that was one of the best meals we have ever had! Again, the staff and service was exceptional. I was amazed to find that they sourced all ingredients locally too.
The next morning breakfast didn't fail us. Delicious. The only regret was we didn't have room to stay for Sunday lunch.
We have already been thinking of other opportunities to return - and neither of us can wait!
We both had a fantastic time, thank you so much.

Room Tip: The superior rooms are amazing - especially the four poster room. Would love to try the Attic and L...

Organised surprised party for my boyfriend and we all had a brilliant time! We have previously stayed here before and the reason why we wanted to return with family and friends. The staff are fantastic from the moment you book until the time you leave and can not fault them. Food is lovely and the atmosphere is wonderful. We were a group of 15 with 2 dogs and a small child and nothing was too much trouble. There is a wonderful beach and walks in the area, including Sandringham. If the weather is poor there is a number of indoor activites including sea life place just a few minutes away. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: All lovely

We stayed in the 'Attic' room with our two-year-old son over a Saturday night, on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and were extremely impressed by the room, food and general hospitality of the staff - all in all, great value for money.

Our room was more like a suite, and was really self-contained and quiet, tastefully furnished and had two fantastic bathrooms (one with slipper bath, the other a walk-in shower). Dinner and breakfast were both great and the service was excellent.

We decided to have a one night break with friends at short notice. Picked our destination and got on line. The Lodge was our first choice and we really fell on our feet. Excellent. The staff were very accommodating the food excellent and rooms really comfortable. Will defo be going back. Just noticed michael h has beat me to it.. Just goes to show what an excellent choice we made and both parties agree.
