Stayed three nights in the converted barn at the back of the property. Good value at £75 a night, including the dog. Plenty of parking.

Max. 10 mins drive from the city.

Very friendly host and excellent staff. Oliver, the front-of-house manager, was extremely helpful.

We enjoyed three high-quality evening meals. Very fair wine prices. Nice Malbec.

Good cooked breakfasts.

I stayed at the Evenhill over night so took advantage of the on site bar and restaurant. This is a pub with a restaurant on the side. The restaurant seating is on two floors of what looks like a converted barn. Food is typical pub fare. I had sizzling fajitas and my daughter battered cod and chips. Everything was fresh cooked and well presented. I washed it down with some delicious real ale.

We were looking for a last minute stay close to Canterbury and stumbled across The Evenhill. I am so pleased we did. The room was charming, clean and comfortable. The pub was friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. I would not hesitate booking a room here again. It’s is in a great location with easy access to local attractions. Great overall value for money. Please do not hesitate to book here, you will not be disappointed. 5* from us.
