This is a lovely old cottage which has been beautifully refurbished and contains every comfort for an enjoyable holiday. The owners,Sue and Freya,do a great job in presenting the cottage with everything you could possibly need.We stayed for two weeks and part of the time were joined by our family making a total of five adults,a five month old baby and two dogs.A good time was had by all!

“Wow, you'll find it hard to beat this.”

A charming cottage in a lovely location. The owners could not have done more to make this a memorable stay. The cottage has everything you could need and more. A stairlift to the first floor which has a single bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with walk-in shower makes it suitable for some people who have disabilities or mobility problems. The double bedroom situated in the loft with its own on suite washroom completes the sleeping quarters. On the ground floor there is a lounge, kitchen, dining area and utility room. The cottage is equipped with everything you could wish for to make your stay comfortable and easy. All mod cons but in a design that suits the quaintness of the cottage. Good parking, and a quiet walled garden. Several local eating places and village shop that caters for most needs.

“A Home from Home”
Reviewed 2 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have just returned to Ireland & thank Sue & Freya for providing a 'home from home' for us at Latch Cottage. From the welcoming delicious lemon cake, the biscuits with the tea making facilities in every bedroom, the comfortable furniture to the beautiful bed linen & towels etc. every thing was of the highest standard. There were plenty of extra plates, cutlery & glasses so we could entertain our in-laws who lived nearby (& a very well stocked shop a few yards away where we could stock up on supplies!) The stairlift was so useful for Colin with his bad knees!
There were plenty of games & DVD's for if the weather had been bad, but luckily we made more use of the BBQ ( for which even the charcoal was provided)
We were able to get out & about every day, to the coast, to Sandringham, to Kings Lynn & to the amazing Castle Acre Priory, but we're always happy to come home to Latch Cottage!
Colin & Fran.

“A Gem of a Place for a Lovely Holiday”
Reviewed 6 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Latch Cottage was a wonderful place to stay, the owner's have added lots of touches that make it a home away from home. Thank you for the cake on arrival + the tea and coffe and toiletries all unexpected. The cottage has it all, from books and DVD's and games to information about what's in the area and village. Also a selection of wine you are free to use as long as you replace the bottle, lovely after a day out. It's well equipped and very comfortable, having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer if you want that sort of thing, even foot rests to rest those tried feet after a long day !! This cottage would suit young or old, set over three floors, with two bedrooms on the first floor that have the use of a stair lift if needed, and a great double shower. My room was on the second floor this was a double with skylight windows ( the stairs are not steep, and have deep treads ) loved that room with its own toilet.
The village of Grimston has everything you need, a short walk away is a pub that serves food, a local shop and just past this a little out of sight is a wonderful deli / butcher who sells local produce, we ordered a quiche which they made for us and we picked it up hot just out of the oven, really lovely, there's also a lovely old church. So you don't even have to leave the village !!! But having said that its in an ideal location, Sandringham is only about 5 miles away. Kings lynn is a lovely old town on the river, You can visit Downham Market, or go the other way to Hunstation a lovely old English sea side town, or to Wells. There's so much you could do, but once you get inside this cosy little cottage you may not want to go out !!!

“Absolutely lovely”
Reviewed 4 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Really splendid. So fed up with holiday lets that disappoint - you know that sinking feeling as you get beyond the front door - not this one. It was beautifully clean and extremely comfortable. There were many welcoming touches which were well in excess of expectations. Really cannot fault it. The location worked for us too. Plenty to do in the surrounding area which left us wanting more. Easy and pleasant cycling and walking too.
