When we arrived at this pizzeria at 7.30 we were just about the only diners, however it quickly filled up and was very busy (and buzzy) for a Tuesday evening.
The owner / head chef was very friendly and welcoming.
The menu is extensive and we made the mistake of ordering starters and main courses. When the starters arrived they were so huge we quickly realised we would struggle to manage a main course too. My son had the biggest calzone you have ever seen.
My wife had a delicious dish with endives and melted cheese.
As the restaurant got busier the service started to deteriorate. The 3 waitresses could not cope very well and brought things at odd times / forgot things.
Before we left the owner / chef produced a bottle of limoncello and insisted we all have a glass.
We were really happy to have found this restaurant in Nervesa della Battaglia.
