We found this little restaurant after a cycle ride from Bruges. An €18.50 three course lunch menu was a bargain. Smoked salmon in a pastry case, followed by a trio of fish. We couldn't managed desserts and the charming waiter (Kevin) happily offered us a beer and a coffee instead.
He even let me struggle through in Dutch before dropping in to perfect English after he'd watch me struggle for long enough.
Food was nicely cooked, service perfect, the price fair. Nice to see establishments getting the basics right.
A charming bistro.
