We spent 6 days in the hotel and were able to go nearly every day on a cycling tour. I rented a top Pinarello Gan S (the Italian workhorse) but could have rented as well a top Dogma. The combination of hospitality, warmth and charm displayed by Gianni and his team was great. He organized a great wine tasting of the less known Roero wines including dinner in the family winery. The tour guides Sergio and Paolo were not only fit and friendly but very knowledgeable about culture, history and of course wines. All in all a great experience, good hotel, excellent and attentive hotel staff, top guides, top rental bikes and with Gianni a top notch, old school hotel manager who reads every wish from a guests mind. A great thumbs up from Alfredo, Kurt and Shane!

The hotel is spacious, clean with well equipped rooms. Staff feally helpful, friendly and polite. Food at breakfast was good with excellent service. Garden and external pool very pleasant. Only downside a bit away from city centre, but this meant you cloud escape from this crowds and noise. Good price for a hotel close to Torino

This was our second trip to the Piedmont Bike Hotel in Pralormo. The service in both the hotel and the cycling tour was fabulous. Gianni and his staff provide excellent service at the hotel. Davide and Sergio gave us another spectacular week of cycling. They were able to accommodate all levels of cycling. Highest recommendation.

The hotel's facilities are great and combined with the lake and immaculately kept gardens. it made for a pleasant environment. I saw the gardener outside so much of the time, taking pride in maintaining the gardens to a high level. The bike shed was well maintained with a variety of bikes available for rent. The front office staff were very polite and helpful, and Liza (I think) did a excellent job serving us meals at breakfast and dinner. The cleaner was out in the mornings washing the steps to the front of the hotel to ensure that everything was ship shape. Rooms were very clean.

From a cycling perspective it is much better to start off with at least a few guided rides, if anyone is thinking of being self supported. All of the guides were extremely helpful, courteous and took into account riders of different abilities. Local knowledge counts fir a lot here! Although some of the supported rides required transport by van to the start point an hour away, it was well worth doing this (Colle delle Finistre) plus it was very reasonably priced.

The attitude of management/owners can make a huge difference to the experience, and it must be said that Gianni was fantastic! He picked us up from train station and dropped us off in Turin at the end of the trip at a very fair cost. Gianni also went to extreme lengths to help us out with our navigational issues by purchasing a new Garmin 1000 so we could ride the pre-made courses by ourselves. He also was most accommodating when we had to make some changes to our bike hire (mtb to road bike). Well done Gianni and your excellent team!!!

Room Tip: Towards the back of the hotel is good as the road at the front can be busy at times
