A very nice hotel, not very close to major attractions other than Lancaster Castle which is a must to visit and get a guided tour. The accommodation was really good in one of the outlying tastefully done restorations. The hall itself is amazing with lots of history dating back to doomsday book. The room which included, kitchen diner/lounge with TV, DVD and fully equipped kitchen, included sofa , easy chairs and dining table. A generous bathroom, and equally spacious bedroom. The reception staff were extremely helpful even helping on the download of the Diamond App. This enabled 25% off food in the adjoining restaurant and bar.
A very nice restful stay on a visit to relatives on the Fylde Coast would recommend to others.More
