No complaints at all about the hall itself rooms, food, grounds location excellent but come on you pay one hundred and fifty pounds for a night and your room isn't ready until four o'clock if rooms have to be vacated by ten in the morning and can't be ready before four you clearly are not employing enough cleaning staff also if you are paying one hundred and fifty pounds per night you would expect the leisure facilities to be included ,all this detracts from what is an excellent place to stay and would make you think twice about staying again

I recently went with three friends for tea and drinks to the hall. The staff were lovely and helpful. Sadly they now have stopped serving scones etc so we had to have sandwiches instead. Also despite the presence of a ramp up to one of the dining areas, there isn't a disabled toilet in the hall. We were informed the nearest one was in their sports hall about two hundred yards away and not attached physically to the hall itself. Amazing in this day and age. This is 2018 and surely a disabled toilet is a basic need which all services open to the public should have by now. No excuse. I have friends who can't go there because of this oversight. Please rectify as soon as possible.

We stayed in an Elite suite and we were very impressed. Everything was clean and modern, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The kitchen area had everything needed if you fancy cooking, the lounge area had comfortable sofas and a big, modern flat screen tv. The restaurant served fantastic food and was very reasonably priced. The staff were ALL very helpful and polite. Fantastic place in a great location, can't praise the place highly enough.

Me, my two sisters and mum stayed for 2 nights last weekend to celebrate Mum's birthday.
We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and as we were early and our room was not ready we had a drink in the bar. Huge roaring fire going and drinks were very reasonable.
Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, freshly decorated, warm and cosy and a great size. We had a really comfortable stay.
The grounds are lovely and I would imagine even better in the summer.

The restaurant and great hall are being refurbished at the moment but this did not detract from our enjoyment.
Positives
- lovely surroundings
- great accommodation
- reasonable prices
- friendly and accommodating staff.

Only negatives
- we had breakfast in the chapel room but the room was quite cold.
- having to pay for WI-FI in these days is a big no-no!
- again paying extra for the use of the leisure centre in not normal practice these days.

However this would not put us off returning to Thurnham Hall. I thoroughly recommend a stay there.
