My first visit to Italy was such an exciting occasion. We spent our first week visiting the beautiful cities of Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome. We then drove across the country to Pacentro, a medieval village which has retained its beautiful architecture and culture...the people are friendly and welcoming and every evening there was some type of entertainment in the Piazza's or the town villa. There are lovely restaurants, bars and shops where anything needed can be purchased. The water is fresh from springs and after a few days gives your skin has clear silky glow. The B&B is located just a few doors from the Piazza Umberto where there is plenty of activity late into the evening. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 10 with plenty of room to enjoy the breezy units. The front balconies provide a beautiful view of the piazza and mountains, while the back balconies complete the days activities by watching the sun set over the well maintained homes and terra cotta tile roof tops. I can't wait to return to this magical village.
