We decided to try this recently refurbished restaurant that now does evening meals and cocktails etc.
On entering we were pleasantly surprised by the very nice relaxing interior. Greeted by a very nice waitress we were shown to a table. Service was excellent all night.
Pea and ham soup, orange pate, chicken pot pie, sea bass, creme brûlée. All delicious.
Merlot and Pinot Grigio were of good quality.
Total bill £60, reasonable value.
We will definitely visit again
Only small criticism is that the entrance door channels any wind right down the centre of the restaurant. It could do with a 'hot air curtain' or something similar to make it a bit more comfortable
Overall it was very good and spotlessly clean.
