We stayed at La Bageatière for three nights in May, and found the place to be lovely. Patricia and Nicolas offer everyone a very warm welcome, and our room, the Edelweiss, had everything we needed. Breakfast is served at a communal table, and is both copious and delicious. The setting is glorious, with a magnificent garden. We honestly wish that we could have stayed there longer, and we’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Our host, Frédérik, was welcoming and helpful as well as fluent in English. He prepared and served an excellent meal on our first night there and we enjoyed meeting and talking with other guests. Breakfasts were tasty and more than ample. We found the Edelweiss bedroom roomy and comfortable with a good wi-fi connection. The location is private and serene with well-tended grounds and a mountain backdrop.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic one week break at the Bageatiere. We couldn't have picked a better place for our holiday! The property is surrounded by the mountains and is so peaceful. A few days we didn't even bother venturing outdoors, choosing instead to enjoy languishing by the pool and taking in the beautiful surroundings. We were staying in the 'Colchique' room on the ground floor, which was spacious and nice cool escape from the sizzling temperatures outside. Fred was a great host, and the meal he made us when we were there was by far the best we had during our two week tour of France - absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast, it made for a very warm and convivial atmosphere. Un grand merci to Fred!
