I stayed here 23/08/17 - 28/08/17 and loved it. My friend with whom I traveled, was a returning guest which influenced my reason to stay.
Compared to the other areas of Bali it was very quiet, not so in your face, and a very simple place to be.
Our room on the top floor was clean and quiet, and pleasantly furnished. The bathroom was large and although the water flow was erratic in the shower, it was good enough. The balcony overlooked the lovely pool and dining area, and also had a lovely patio to sit quietly and have coffee in the morning. The free wifi was good.
Dining in was enhanced by being situated a stones throw from the crashing waves, and the food was good, and tasty. I loved the fresh baked bread at breakfast accompanied by home made jams. My favourite was the lemon butter.
The pool was gorgeous, the upstairs verandah straight from colonial times with a view to die for, and a sun-downer with host, Gus, watching the fishermen boating out for the night, a memory that will stay with me forever.
The beach sellers weren't too intrusive, and there were ladies to give massages, hair treatments or pedicures nearby.
The staff were amazing, happy and friendly, and Gus a very gracious host.
Looking forward to returning again next year.

This is a great place. We had a family room including breakfast. The rooms are clean, bright (curtains against daylights missing, but okay), with safe and fridge. Personell was really nice. Good breakfast. Gorgeous view from restaurant, out of the rooms we saw pool, restaurant and ocean behind, fantastic).
Gus is the american manager and was really helpful. One day there was a problem with the pool and he organized that we and the kids could swim in another place (he even gave us the money for entry).
Over the beach there is close access to nearby restaurants, Warung Rasta is recommended.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Beach Inn with our 2 teenage daughters. We found the rooms to be comfortable - grounds and outside areas relaxing and clean. The food at the restaurant was top notch and there was no need to look any further for alternative food choices. The staff could not have been friendlier and our hosts Gus and Sandy treated us like old friends. Of course they are situated right on the beach which makes for a beautiful setting anytime of the day.

This place is heaven, so nice! The whole place is just paradise. The staff is nice, owners are nice, the pool is great, the view and sunset are the best.
The staff and owners are happy to arrange dolphinwatching, rides to different sightseeing etc.
The place is a bit off, but you really don't (and definiately don't want to) leave.
The food is good at the restaurant, breakfast is very good.
The room we stayed in is ok (they will renovate), but whom wants to stay in the room when the pool, restaurant and ocean is right outside?

So nice of you to say such lovely things about Villa Agung and my staff. I am proud of them as we have worked very hard to give the best service and food that we can.
I am researching all the other good restaurants that I can recommend so you can choose and they will provide transport for you. We can also arrange for you to his all the new "hotspots" we have around Lovina and it is getting quite exciting and sophisticated.
Come back soon.
Sandy

We wished to stay longer here instead of a night. The whole place just renovated with white painting, new swimming pool and massage hut by the sea.

As we are the only guests during our stay, we really enjoyed our time at Villa. It will be a good place for private wedding or group stay. Family rooms are available by the pool and 4 standard rooms upstairs. All rooms with ocean view.

The rooms upstairs are connected to the restaurant's 2nd floor which is very convenient for guess. Where you can have your meals by the beach. The only irritating part was the salesperson will try very hard to sell you things when they walk by the villa despite they can't step into the villa.

There is another star gazing deck besides the rooms.

We wish you could have stayed longer too! Thanks for all the kind words. I built the wall by the beach which has discouraged some vendors but they can still see you. They also have to contribute to the beach cleaning fund, which has cut down some more. I unfortunately have no control over the vendors. I apologise for this. Hope to see you again soon.
