Great food, service and location right on the beach of the South Java Sea. Great pool near the bar and dining tables located nearby and just off the beach.

Secondary pool located out the back door of our room. The room had a large bed room as well as a living room with kitchen, sink full size fridge with ice making. TV's in both rooms. Large spa on site too.

Room tip: Located way back off the main road so as to be ON THE BEACH. Had bikes for rent.

The Lovina aims to meet high expectations. The staff are extremely friendly and obliging. The resort is relatively new (three years apparently) and is maticulously maintained with wide range of rooms and villas (We stayed in garden villa D1). Food is clean, healthy and delicious with a broad menu and two restaurants in case you don't plan on leaving for a while. The resort is set back from roads and shops so unwanted noise is non existent with pleasant scenery surrounding the resort. We wish to sincerely thank all of the Lovina staff very much for making our first holiday with our young daughter so special!

You can't go wrong at this hotel. The buffet breakfast is lovely, staff truly are friendly and sincere, the rooms are well appointed. I stayed in a huge suite with a secluded swimming pool and met the nicest people quite unexpectedly there. Beautiful surroundings. Take lots of photos. The gardens are refreshing and make you forget what your kitchen at home looks like. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were staying on one of the beachfront 2 bed villas for a couple of nights as were breaking our of Nusa Dua to see the dolphins. On the late arrival of the first evening the staff were brilliant checking us in. On the next day we settled onto the location and visited some of the great local attractions not the least of was the particularly green hot spa. If you go here whatever you have will need washing, a lot.

In the evening of this day we had arranged a 'light' bbq at the villa. It is interesting to see that 'light' in Lovina is much the same as light in the rest of Bali, non-existent!! What an amazing bbq complete with silver service, service if that makes sense. Enough food to serve the whole of the hotel let alone us as a group of 4 and our 4 guests from Kayumanis.

Next morning we took a boat from the beach right outside the Lovina and went to see the dolphins. While it is a little crowded we could not believe what we were seeing, it was quite amazing. Huge gratitude has to go to the many boat drivers who do their best to get everyone to see these amazing creatures while protecting the them from too close an intrusion.

Once this was done we were taken to an area where we could hand feed fish in the sea that was quite an experience.

The morning still fresh in the day we then completed our visit with breakfast at the villa before commencing the drive back to Nusa Dua.

Nice work from a fabulous team in an excellent property that is in the perfect location.

Room tip: Choose a villa or poolside for views

Stayed here in a deluxe suite over looking the rice paddies and mountain. Fabulous room, very spacious, with a

plunge pool in your own private garden. the bathroom being outside, but under cover, was vey novel. Beautiful grounds all around the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was a swimming pool which serviced our room plus about 9 others. It was like having your own private pool. food in the restaurant was good. The beach bar served very good food, and when it was quiet several of the waiters sang and entertained. They were very good. We did an early morning dolphin trip from the hotel which was very good. On leaving I was presented with a small gift, which I found very touching.
