Had to stay in Possneck for a business trip visiting a book printer, the Villa was originally owned by the Printer / publisher many years ago, but now in private hands.
The Villa is an amazing building, wood panelling, stone floors, immaculately decorated throughout, wi fi is great, food is amazing, staff are very friendly with good english.
Stayed for 5 nights, great value, short walk down hill into the town centre.

We spent 3 nights here in room 6 on the 2nd floor which is actually the third. There was no one available to help with the bags so we managed on our own. The category was Classic Double. It was very large with good storage for our 3 day family heritage visit to the area. Even during the heat wave with no AC it was amazingly tolerable. WiFi worked well and parking was free too. This was a villa built by a Possneck publishing magnate. The terrace was a lovely place to have breakfast which was a hot buffet and well priced at 7Euro. We had one dinner at the hotel too and it was delicious. The major draw back was the staffing. The front desk clerk was also the bar tender, waitress/server/bus girl in the restaurant. She obviously was over extended and stressed. This hotel seems to be used for weddings and other events but non were happening when we were there. I is something I would ask about it we come again as I wonder if it would interfere with parking. Its location was great for our purposes (genealogy) and it is a lovely area albeit off the beaten path.

Room Tip: I recommend requesting the "first" floor, US second if steps are an issue.
