Well, the Lagune itself is sadly a disappointment considering expectations and what one has to do to get there. Yeah, you can get some good pictures up from the bottom, though the bottom of the Lagune was sad and muddy with brown water.

Very steep clamber up and down, but a nice little adventure. Ropes in some places. Could easily get bottle necks, so would be a nightmare (lots of waiting round) if there were lots of visitors. When the tide isn’t in, it’s very muddy once in the lagoon. Many people had made models out of the mud and placed their figures on ‘shelves’ around the lagoon, which was a nice touch. A father and his two young sons were ahead of me and they managed the climb, but a lot of people would feel it too much to climb down and back up. It wasn’t easy. Tight squeeze at the end to get down the last part too.

When we were there the lagoon was all dried up so it was only mud. The hiking/climbing there is ok difficult. So check if there's any water before using time getting there.

We are climbers so we didn't find the way there difficult. But it was a day after a heavy rain so there was a lot of mud. Every place i have seen on my trip around Krabi was nicer. Totally not worth getting everything dirty.

Me and my husband planned to see the viewpoint at first because it would rain that day and it surely rained alot and we were both in flipflops yet we decided to continue to the lagoon. It was really hard and dangerous in the rain and with flipflops and neither of us are in top shape but we got down there and it was the most beautiful reward! we were all alone since nobody was as stupid as us that day ;P stayed there for 2 hours just enjoying the enviroment and swimming. The way back was as hard as going down since you have to pull up your bodyweight several times. My tips are: Good shoes, dry day, go there early and taaake your time and figure out the best way to climb down. There are many hidden treasures in that road to help you get through. Look around and plan the next step. And lastely but not least: never ever let go of the rope while going down the vertical parts.

Ps. I lost one of my flipflops at the bottom of the lagoon, was lucky and found another one for the right foot on the way up! Hope the one I forgot will help someone else one day! Good luck!
