A nice, clean, newer hotel with comfortable rooms right along the Route du VIn. We had a nice views of some of the vineyards from our window. The staff people we dealt with were friendly and spoke English well (much better than my French). There is an elevator, but it is very small as is common in European hotels. It can accommodate four people if you like to be cozy, but no more than two with luggage.
Our room was relatively quiet, but be prepared for some highway noise if you like to sleep with the windows open. There is an extensive breakfast buffet with the usual continental items, along with hot scrambled eggs and bacon. They even had Crement (Alsatian sparkling wine) available for those in the mood for a Mimosa!

With its location at Route des Vins d´Alsace Hotel Au Riesling is a good place to stay if you want to explore the idyllic wine villages north of Colmar. The hotel itself has all the comfort you need (but maybe, as there is no air conditioning, one could question what happens if the weather is hot), it has a friendly atmosphere and the staff is welcoming.

If you want to eat inhouse there is a restaurant which serves quite decent meals. The breakfast has what you should need, including some ham, sausages and rye bread (which - as you might know - is not always the case in this country).

The wifi works well - although it´s not superfast - and the parking is free.

Dear Guest. We thank you for your Feedback after your visit. We are glad to hear that your stay was comfortable to you. The hotel is very centraly located for all the guests who likes to visit the alsatian villages. We will start the renovations in January 2018 (air conditioning - 1st Floor and the restaurant). We will be happy to welcome you again after the renovations. Best regards BRAND Liliane, Owner

We stayed for one night at the Au Riesling in early September. Our room was comfortable and the shower room was fine apart from the revolting orange colour of the bathroom suite...not that it made any difference to the quality! We decided to have breakfast at the hotel which was served in a room (conservatory) with lovely views over the local vineyards. The waiting staff were pleasant and efficient and the traditional continental breakfast was fine. The hotel is in a lovely setting and is very near the ancient village of Riquewihr which is well worth a visit.

This was our second stop over, (following on from Wiltz), and we had 2 nights here.
Rooms were large with a good en-suite, and the bed was very comfortable and your head just melted into the pillows, very comfortable.
Restaurant meals were good.

Good location and easy to find. Plenty to see close by. Rooms very clean and quiet. Modern bathroom, great breakfast, plenty of free parking and a nice restaurant. Friendly emloyees. Much better priced than if you stayed in the more popular villages/towns.
