Genuine homemade food. Our party of 6 came here for dinner and were warmly welcomed by the waiters. We tried most things on the menu including the beef stifado (which you must have), moussaka, pork, mixed grill and a few sides. All the food was cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is lovely - nice lighting and calm ambience.
We wanted to go again so I popped in one lunch time to book a table and low and behold, Mama was in the kitchen cooking up a storm! Excellent value, excellent food and excellent wine.

This was the first place we visited during our stay in Crete. The staff were lovely (and the cutest little cat hangs out there too!).
The food was beautifully cooked, and we tried possibly the best baklava ever!
Would quickly recommend.

We had dinner here one evening in September after reading the good reviews on Trip Advisor.

We were greeted by the staff very warmly and they immediately seated us. It was a shame we weren't nearer the swimming pool but it was still a nice setting. The only issue is the road noise and I did find the smoke coming from people smoking on other tables somewhat annoying. I don't mind if you're having a drink but do find it a bit disconcerting when you're eating. It didn't spoil it though.

The menu was quite comprehensive and we ordered grilled feta and a cretian sausage for starters. They did get our order wrong and brought grilled vegetables but they corrected this immediately and were extremely apologetic. Both dishes were delicious. We also ordered a caraf of the local wine which was also OK. For main I had the moussaka which was not the best I have had (not enough cinnamon) but it wasn't bad. My partner had the pork slouvaki which he enjoyed. We also ordered a Greek salad to accompany our main courses. All the food was really good and the portions were large. We were too full for a dessert but we were presented with some raki on the house - they also gave us a fruit cordial to mix with it which made it a bit more palatable than it is normally!

At the end of the meal the waiter advised us on what to choose if we visited again. I am sure if we had been there longer we would have gone back and it was obvious as the night went on that many people were returning.

Overall a good meal and really friendly staff.
