The hotel is one I stay in regularly. the staff are great and very helpful.
The only problem is finding the hotel - being on a winding road in somewhat a remote location. However if you find this by sat nav - the hotel is a fairy tale to look at and very comfortable.
Rooms are quite fancy - quite traditional. Lots of guilt and paintings on the ceilings - ornate fitting and furniture.
The room comes with a small fridge with a two litre bottle of still and sparkling water in the room. the bathrooms are good - and well supplied with good vanity kits. Showers are fidly to set up but nice and hot and powerful.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms a good size.
The breakfast is quite simple - a couple of choices of cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and boiled eggs. Not much in the full english dept - but good enough to get you going for the day.
The restaurant for dinner - if quiet - with only about 8 people in it at anyone time - the meals were very good and wine / beer very nice too.
This hotel is my first choice in the area as it offers great comfort and great value for money in a truly beautiful setting and wish one day to bring my wife to share the experience.More
