Wonderful surprise. Property felt like it was almost new. The helpful staff provided us with great service. We arrived after hours, so they left the garage for our unit open and made arrangements for us to be able to get in. Felt almost like being at home with how beautiful and clean the room was. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious. We would love to stay here again if in the area.

Cottages are good sized and the bathrooms are huge. Main problem was the mattress. It seemed much older than the cottage; lumpy, bumpy, and a strap around because the side are collapsed. Also, as mentioned in a prior review, a microwave and minifridge do not a kitchenette make.

Stayed in part-view cottage...good size, fabulous, large bath shower for 2, jetted tub, double sinks, water closet all done in tile. Good size room with slider to deck, partial view of driving range. DirectTV, small kitchen with only microwave, fridge.....but,...blanket/comforter in need of cleaning, carpets need shampooing and removal of stains, stains on couch pillows, deck needs to be washed down to remove spider nests. Otherwise, a really great place to stay, golf is great, people are all very friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: Each cottage has 3 rooms...1 with view, 1 with part view, the center one is a one b/r with view..all single floor units with your own garage.

stayed here for one night, I was very impressed at how nice it was, feels like a new condo. I will stay here again next time, and I didn't even golf there yet. tip is to check with the rental place before you get there, I picked up my keys at the golf pro shop. There is a nice bar at the pro shop and good golf food and drink at lunch time.

Room Tip: Good for golf or checking out the Lassen area.

The cottages look out over a driving range, with a beautiful sillouette of a mountain far away. We are in one of the 2-room units that has a bedroom and a living room and kitchen. It's very roomy with nice finishes (granite countertops, gas stove, satellite TV, etc.). The kitchen is fairly well stocked so it's easy to cook and eat "at home." There is also a gas fireplace, although this is August and the weather here is perfect, so no need for a fire. There is a nice porch with a barbeque. There is a big bathroom in the master bedroom with two sinks (a plus when traveling with a partner), a double-headed shower, and a jettet tub--and another large half-bath off the kitchen.
On the negative side, the carpet has stains all over it. It's not dirty overall, but it looks like there are many spills from previous guests--not a difficult problem to fix with a cheap Hoover. Also, there ae two overhead lightbulbs that need replacing, and the batteries in one of the remotes need replacing. Finally, that couch is possibly the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on.
Having said all this, I would still come back here if staying in the area for a few days because of the conveniences of home. It's a great location to explore Lake Almanor and just a short drive to some wonderful hikes at Lassen Volcanic Nation Park.
