We went here on a whim while out and about in Kent. It is a nice little place out of the way that is very informative about roman history.

Make sure you take the time to watch the presentation and there is a good amount of hands on stuff for kids.

A very interesting morning out. The site is very well looked after and very clearly laid out. There is loads of information as you go round about the remains, the lives of Romans and the early beginnings of christianity. There is a video that is very worth watching too. Very friendly staff, lovely little gift shop and beautiful surroundings. Excellent for children too! A wonderful visit.

This place us very interesting if you want a half day out with the kids mine is 7 and i would say kids under 6 may be bored, however we found it interesting a cafe would have been good as the facility is only small at the moment nice area outside to have a picnic oin a sunny day

Very informative and interesting site. The video is really good as well, showing the growth of the villa. I found it fascinating how advanced the Romans were.

Easy to combine a trip here with nearby Eynsford Castle (great for picnics). Well worth a visit.

The film and lighting show to tell you all about the history of the site is very well done. But there is still plenty of time to have a good look around and absorb the atmosphere and the myriad of details worth spotting.
