When you hear Quebec described as a charming, romantic European like city, believe it. It is a city that is very easy to navigate and the old section of the city is most beautiful. There is history and culture everywhere. The streets are lined with charming shops and cafes and there a wonderful points of interest, such as the hotel Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, the Dufferin terrace, historic homes and buildings, etc. Just get out there and stroll and discover.

Delightful old city with lots to see and do. Wonderful restaurants and entertainment. Open for business in many languages.

The summit at the Chateau Frontenac is eye opening. The Plains of Abraham area sombre reminder of a dreadful military encounter.

Iconic city filled with rich history.

For my teen living and seeing and smelling and feeling this city... has helped her ace her 9th grade history class.

We had three days in Quebec and had a lovely time. We went on a walking tour of the old city as well as a horse and carriage ride. We had lunch at a great hotel St Patrick’s.We visited the Chateau Frontenac and had a drink in the bar there. What a beautiful hotel. There is a funicular that takes you from the bottom of the old town up to the Chateau Frontenac. Lots of lovely shops and interesting buildings.
