Obviously not the cheapest hotel you'll ever stay at but definitely worth one night experience. You get Arctic sleeping bags and a chance to warm up before bed in the hot tubs, which are also open all night if you get cold. Worst part was losing my hat stuck to the wall so head got cold. Inside its a steady chilly but bearable temperature. Great to do dog sledding in area too, well worth it even if it is $500 a night.

Hotel was located on a vacation resort just outside Quebec City that had a variety of amenities: huge indoor water park, spa service with multiple heated pools, snow park with tube slides and many restaurants. Tour package offered hotel stay in the event we couldn't tolerate a night in the ice hotel but did not need to. The arctic sleeping bags were surprisingly enough to keep us warm even while sleeping in non-cotton pajamas. The bathroom was a portable toilet adjacent to the ice hotel. The interior of the ice hotel was phenomenal and impressive from the 3 ice bars to the ice slide. Also had a dog sled adventurer that was most fun and unforgettable. Definitely a unique and memorable experience!

Lots of detail with ice glasses, ice beds, ice chapel, ice slides, ice seats and benches. It was a lot of fun to see. They were even brave enough to have hot tubs, saunas and even a fire place in an ice hotel. Well done.

Bundle up for Hôtel de Glace, one of North America’s most unique and iconic experiences .. if you can brave the constant - 7°C (19.4 °F) temperatures INSIDE the Hotel!

Hôtel de Glace is located only 4 km from the north end of Québec City. Hôtel de Glace with its huge snow vaults, its crystalline ice sculptures, its 44 rooms and suites, the Hôtel de Glace impresses by its dazzling decor.

A theme suite at the Hôtel de Glace including the Nordic sleeping bag for the night is available for hardy souls. But no worries the Valcartier Hotel adjacent to the Hôtel de Glace in case you want to return to the warmth of a room and soft bed.

This year even Père Noël (Father Christmas or Santa Claus) had his own Suite decorated just for him & Mrs. Claus.

Enjoy the experience!

Was an awesome place to see! Each room is unique. We didn't stay here, just visited. There are a few bars in the hotel and there's even a chapel to get married in. Our tour guide was very friendly! He offered to give the tour in French or English
