“A great hotel in the middle of everything!”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

The one requirement we have for a hotel when traveling with the family is an indoor pool and this fit the bill and was in the heart of the Old City. It is affordable and beautiful. We have stayed here twice and both stays were magical. My only suggestion for people would be to call and confirm your reservation if you are getting to the hotel late. We visited during winter carnival and our room was given away and the person manning the desk had both my kids crying and my husband yelling. It all worked out in the end and we were upgraded to a bigger room. The rest of the stay was great the hotel would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for that one glitch. The pub in the hotel has great beer on tap and good value for decent food. Wonderful for families.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in March, 2012. The hotel was spotless and lovely, our room clean and very comfortable and the bed and bedding top notch. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. We have travelled extensively in Europe and North America and this is now our very favorite hotel. We will be be back next year!

We stayed three nights at the Hotel Manoir Victoria during our trip through Ontario and Quebec. The hotel was currently under renovations, but you would have never known. We never heard any noice or saw any workers ... just a sign at the elevators thanking us for our patience during the reno's. The hotel was very clean and the front staff very pleasant. They were always quick to bring our car around from the valet and always offered to help with our bags.
The only negatives (small ones) that I would have to say about this hotel is the large staircase to climb up to get to the lobby. If you are disabled or handicapped, this would be a huge challenge. My husband had to help a woman with a cane to the top of the steps at one point. Also ... There is no hot tub. They have a very nice pool and sauna, but no hot tub. After a long day of walking outside in the cool February air, a hot tub soak would have been really nice! And lastly .. this seems like an odd complaint, but I have to mention it .. their bed frames are deadly!! On numberous occassions my husband and I both ran into the bottom bed post and were left with bruises all up and down our legs and ankles. We are two able bodied 29 year olds ... and we were constantly running into these darn bed posts!!
Other than that a great stay. Awesome location, tons of shops and restaurans all around. I would highly recommend staying at the Manoir Victoria.

The Hotel Manoir Victoria is nice, and in the perfect location, but was overpriced. Admittedly we were there during the music festival in July, so prices were jacked all over Quebec, but the room was not quite what I'm used to getting for almost $250 a night. Just outdated, not in a classic sense, but like it was last updated in 1985. The breakfast was better than most, and again the location was outstanding, it was just what you got for the money was not that great.

This is a wonderful little hotel. We were surprised to find that we had to go up quite a few stairs to get to the registration desk... However, the staff was very helpful and the location, in the middle of old Quebec, was just perfect.
