I haven't stayed here for years but it is still a great choice in central montreal. You can walk to many asralrmplao or take a assshoassro metro ride. The hotel and breakfast are very European. Great value for money.

We stayed for two nights in February '18. What a charming hotel with excellent service. Our room was spotless, large and beautiful, with a crystal chandelier, high antique moldings and a cozy gas fireplace at a very good value. Their accommodating dog-friendly policy allowed us to bring our dog with us and enjoy the excellent, large nearby dog run while she was here. Breakfast was serviceable (bagels, boiled eggs, sliced meat et al) and allowed us to get on with our day without fuss. Housekeeping was excellent and the desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. For a room just near reception, I felt the sound insulation was quite good, being an historic, solid building. I sleep with earplugs, but didn't find our lobby proximity to be a problem at all, unlike some other hotels. And, well situated for a weekend trip - we didn't drive more than 10 minutes to get anywhere - close to the skating park, Mile End, lots of museums and restaurants. Only thing is limited parking fills up quickly, but we managed street parking, which is often free on weekends, so it wasn't a big deal. We'll be back. Many thanks.

This slightly unusual (connecting several grand old townhouses), boutique hotel is situated on one of the main downtown streets close to art galleries and shopping. The rooms are attractive, but not fussy - ours had two chairs to sit in, which is something we appreciate. A good bed and clean; very acceptable for the modest price. The included "continental" breakfast was, in fact, more than that and more than adequate; very nicely presented. There is reliable public parking about a block away, but street parking is free from 6:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. overnight Saturday until early Sunday afternoon! DM.

Room tip: This is a low-rise, downtown building with curious little street and courtyard views - none bad, as far as we could tell.

The property is very nice, but you really have to like old world charm. The distance from downtown was a bit much, and they had Valet parking only. The staff was very pleasant and informative about what to see and where to go for the best of Montreal.

Room tip: They have a room that is displayed in their advertising. That is the best of what I saw.

I stayed in this hotel because it is in downtown and closer to other attractions. However, everything else went downhill. The room we were assigned was very old and the bath tub clogged everyday. We had only 2 days to check out Montreal and everyday we were left waiting and wasting 2 hours just for the maintenance guy to show up and clean up the mess. On one day, we ended up taking shower in a different room which was on a different floor. It felt like we were staying in a b&b. The place served breakfast but it was average. I will not recommend staying at this place to anyone.
