I went there on one of the last beautiful fall day. They have mainly local animals.
Black bear, lynx wolves, caribous, artic foxes, but also all the birds, frogs, and snakes.
I had a great time, and spent about 2-3 hrs. It is really a good attraction for the family, and children. Entry fee was 16.75 CAD per adult

Set amongst the fields this rescue zoo has some nice animals to view and learn about. They are all North American species that have been rescued. Nice walk amongst the trees and plants. Some animals difficult to see but persevere. There is also an indoor light and dark exhibit with some snakes and turtles etc.

Three adults and a senior. $62. Felt quite a bit overpriced for what we saw. Signage lacking, and few staff and volunteers to explain the exhibits and how to get the most from our visit.

Value was about half of what we paid.

An easy 20-30 minute drive from the center of Montreal. At a leisurely pace we were able to explore fully in 2.5 hours. The animals are comfortable with visitors, so it gave us the chance to see them up close in a fairly natural setting. The animal enclosures are very well done, we saw almost every animal, and the guides shared interesting anecdotes. Afterwards, we went into the small town nearby for a lovely lunch on the water. Many choices for all travelers.

Located about 30 minutes west of Montreal. All the animals are from the Saint Lawrence Valley. They are in natural habitats. You stroll through nature while viewing the animals. Beautiful and rewarding.
