A small menu but very good raw ingredients handled well and served generously, Had a very good dinner here in a lovely relaxing dining room. Not cheap but worth the money. Some really thoughtful flavour combinations - the tahini and maple syrup dip for example was a revelation. The ribeye steak was tender and deeply savoury and enough to feed two. And the beef cheek was exactly as it should be, soft and unctuous and served with delicious beets, The pickerel was new to us and delicious - cooked well to retain its texture and showcase its delicate flavour. Sadly there was no room for pudding - maybe next time! A very good bottle of gamay went down very well. Excellent service - friendly and efficient, added to a lovely evening.
