Well informed staff and helpful.
Clean, cool (It was 31°) with washrooms and bag checks.
This is where you go to get your Parlimentary Tour tickets and arrive early as they go quickly. Doors open at 9.

Very helpful staff A good place to get information and advice. You can book the mint here. Also get the free tickets to tour the parliament building but get there early only on offer from 9 till 11. Go quick. Same day only.

First time when I arrived in Ottawa it was an amazing information center with everything the technology was offering at that time. As the time passed, the things stayed the same and became old and obsolete. Now, there are some changes but is far away from what it was. It is still the place to go if you visit Ottawa or if you want to get some information about the city, but is not what it was anymore.

Tickets for the free tours of the Parliament buildings can be obtained here but they go very fast so line up early. Be sure to grab a copy of the self-guide booklet called Discover the Hill to better appreciate the many attractions within the Parliament, including monuments and public art. If you are carrying a big bag, be sure to deposit it here before going to the tour or you won't be allowed in. The bilingual staff here is friendly and competent, patiently answering all questions from visitors. There is a restroom at the basement of the building.

I signed up for a free family tour of Parliament with them on a weekend. The line was 7 people long but the staff were quick and friendly.
