We stayed for 3 days in the Executive King Suite. It was a very comfortable room. The maid was a delight. I have only two things to "nit pick" at and those kept me from giving this hotel a 5 rating. 1. At this price point at least a continental breakfast should be offered. Other hotels similar to this one offers at least that with their rooms. While I do realize there is a Denny's on site business people who have to be at meetings or at companies at 7 am do not have the time to order at Denny's which opens at 6 am. The traffic does not move that fast in the area. 2. There are two air conditioning units in the room which are controlled by the thermostat near the door. Nowhere near these individual units does it tell you that. In fact one will allow you to try and change it manually. Please place instructions near these units that tell you how to work the temperature control for the room. It took us hours to figure out that we couldn't change the temp manually. Other than this the hotel is fine. Very contemporary furnishings. Very clean.

Needed to stay one night in the Oakville area. Chose the Sandman, and we were pleased with the result. The hotel is reasonably priced, modern, stylish, and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous. We were given a room on the top floor, entered, and it smelled like smoke, even though all rooms are non-smoking. Called down, and was assigned to another room immediately, and all was well. Comfortable King bed, sitting chair, fridge, microwave, safe, and coffee maker all in room. Clean and well maintained. Very comfortable. Pool and workout space, meeting rooms, etc., all available. Hotel sits right on the QEW, but you could barley hear the traffic. Two restaurants attached, Chop steakhouse, and Denny’s. Made for an easy stay. Sandman gets Two thumbs up from us!

Very comfortable rooms. The rooms are quieter on the south side as away from the QEW highway. The views consist mainly of rooftops and parking lots. Many chain restaurants close by as well as Denny's at the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms away from the QEW highway as much quieter

Great looking hotel with a conformable bed. The service downstairs was friendly. However the A/C was a bit too load and the peep hole reflected a glaring light from the hallway onto my face while I was sleeping.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful in giving us advice on where to eat and how to get there. The room was neat and clean. It was useful to have a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a little too puffy. The location was very convenient, by the highway, with a variety of restaurants close by.

Room Tip: Perhaps ask for a quiet floor, so as not to hear latecomers talking in the corridor in the middle of the night.
