We stayed here one night and really enjoyed the quiet, relaxed style of this place. Points for cleanliness, the helpful staff and great location. Away from the hoardes on the main street, Harbour House is a lovely ten minute (or less) walk to the centre of town. They offer a shuttle but we didn't have an opportunity to use it.
Our hotel room was on the first floor and was surprisingly quiet. The room could use a fresh coat of paint (decor is a bit dated, but not a deal breaker). Breakfast is a bonus - fruit, smoked salmon, coldcuts and cheese as well as the usual cereal and toast were on offer but the rhubarb breadpudding was such a treat. The complimentary cookies and chocolate were a nice added touch in our room.More
