This is the kind of hotel that offers a 'no frills' experience. You get a clean and comfortable room without a view. The rooms are large, but décor is Spartan to say the least. On the plus side, this hotel is conveniently located just two blocks from the Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill, and about four blocks walk from the falls.
I was assigned to room 611, a large room overlooking the parking lot. The room was quite large with two beds, good air-conditioning, a table and two chairs, coffee service, ample closet and storage space, and a small, but easy-to-use bathroom. The décor is Spartan with only one print featuring the falls on the wall... And no other decorative elements. Beds comfortable; bedding clean and fresh; pillows are all feather pillows - non-feather pillows upon request. Room equipped with tissues, flat-screen TV, telephone, and blow drier. Beige walls, grey carpet, gold synthetic fabric drapes that are tasteless. Pretty good lighting for reading.
The hotel itself is fine; nice indoor pool; good breakfast buffet with the usual fruit/cereal/eggs/toast/make your own waffles/sausage. Staff is pleasant. I actually liked my stay here, and loved that the casino was only two blocks away. Enjoy.More
