My husband and I did walk around the casino, which was very nice. The purpose of our trip, however, was to see the falls, so we didn't spend much time there. Maybe we would have if we were staying in the area a bit longer.

If it's chilly outside, then this is the place you need to be in. It's completely covered and has a mall-like feel with lots of stores and restaurants. It also has a mini-theatre that holds some exciting shows.

The casino is of course the main attraction. It has TONS AND TONS of slot machines than you could ever tire yourself of. Very lively and loud.

You can walk out to the deck area and it has an amazing view of the falls too.

There were a few things we really liked about this casino compared to others we have visited. First, most of the casino floor is NON-smoking as opposed to so many of the US casinos in which the majority of the gaming floor is smoking. Second, there are a lot of low-priced slots which are perfect for the budget gamers like us. (High-rollers, you need to read a review other than this one.) Finally, it is in the middle of the Fallsview district overlooking the falls, walking distance to several hotels and good restaurants. A very good experience, even though we did not come away on the winning side.

Our hotel was across the street so we thought we would check it out. The Casino was so busy that there were no table seats and suprisingly the slot machines were really full.
the casino has a nightclub (packed couldnt get in) and 2 small bars. There was no place to get a drink and relax so we left and went to Margaritaville (across the street).

I did not stay at the Fallsview Hotel, but went to the casino. Great location next to the falls, enjoyed the opportunity to shop, gamble, and view the falls lit up at night. Skip the buffet, great service but unimpressive food.
