The facility is nice and the rooms were clean (although I found the bathroom small for 4-star hotel). Would have also been nice to have some free coffee in the lobby - but again, being 4-star, there was a coffee shop in the lobby. Parking surprised me at $20, but again, probably standard for the area. The staff was polite but seemed dismissive and not genuinely friendly. When we called to ask for a late checkout, I was abruptly told that checkout was at 11 but yes, I could check out at 12, okay? Click. As if I was bothering them. Then, cleaning staff knocked on and opened our door at 11:20 a.m., unaware that we had arranged for a late check out. Also, we wrote ahead (via the Hilton Chat) to inform the staff that it was our anniversary and could anything special be done? I was told that flowers, candy or champagne would be arranged, subject to availability. When we arrived, no acknowledgement of our special occasion was made, and when I enquired about the possible recognitions, I was (again) abruptly told that they don't do that, and that it would have to been arranged by me. Uh, what's the point, then? Loved the walk to the Falls and the restaurants nearby (IHOP across the street). The television channels were few (a push toward the On Demand feature, perhaps).
