If you are staying in Niagara Falls, Canadian-side, you will enjoy a fine stay at the Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel and Suites. Its views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls are spectacular, the Fallsview Casino is across the street, and it is a short walk to the 520-foot Skylon Tower observation deck.
The hotel has all of the modern facilities, including indoor pool and exercise rooms, a number of shops, quite a few fine restaurants and on-site parking (although the parking garage is small). There is an ala carte sit-down breakfast on the 33rd floor with again great view of the falls, but it's a bit pricy. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The 43rd-floor "premium" room in which we stayed had a superb view of both falls, and a jacuzzi, but only average other appointments. The bath had a nice stall shower, but lacked adequate vanity and counter space. Also, you needed to discover the switch to lower the hidden built-in shade on the huge window next to the jacuzzi in order to have any bathroom privacy. Another caveat is that they currently do not clean or make-up rooms other than between stays. If you need anything, such as clean towels, you have to ask at the desk for it to be sent up.More
