we have now done it about four times, the third a take away. Although tasty, the batter softened with the retained humidity and took away the magic crunch and freshness of eating in. This was despite the staff doing what they could, so my recommendation after having our faith restored on our last visit (albeit without mushy peas) is to enjoy the food on the premises with a pot of tea and bread butter. The coleslaw is also excellent making it by far our favourite chippy, even though we have to cross the mountain to get there.
