I stayed at the Inn yesterday while in the area for business. I found it to be perfectly charming - the quintessential bed and breakfast. It looks like something out of a movie all decked out and decorated for Fall. The innkeepers, Suzette and Rogers were welcoming, warm and very friendly. I can't remember the name of the room I stayed in but I loved it. The mattress was firm just the way I liked it and the bathroom (which I shared with another guest) was spotless. The fluffy robe and the cold water bottles and hot coffee were greatly appreciated and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was more like a brunch than breakfast. I ate my breakfast while chatting with two guests from Germany. The entire experience and stay was most enjoyable and memorable. If I'm ever in that area again and in need of a place to stay I will definitely return.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful 100 year old house, filled with antiques. Suzette, Sabine and Roger are congenial hosts, and the breakfasts were very tasty. Expansive grounds, with a beautiful spot to hold an outdoor wedding or other gathering. There is some traffic noise, but it quiets down at night. Didn’t bother us to sleep.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful, with an area of their own on the upper veranda.

On our way visiting the east side of the province we stopped here for 1 night.

Beautiful B&B in the lovely area of Belleville.

We were greeted by an enthusiastic host who showed us our room. We could only book the last room they had available and it had 2 twin beds.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Excellent coffee too.

If you love the Victorian type homes, this is the place you should visit.

We were in the area for a few days to tour wineries and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose this place because of the terrrific view and it looked interesting and different. We weren't disappointed. We were met at the door by a lovely lady. (Sorry can't remember your name) . She works at the inn and lives next door. She welcomed us and showed us to our room. We met the inn keeper briefly as well. Such a lovely and down to earth staff which made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Adelina room. Beautifully decorated with antiques but had an amazing spa tub/shower right in the room. We were on the second floor and our door opened onto a lovely porch overlooking the front of the grounds and the bay. The inn is set far enough off of busy highway 2, that the traffic isn't too noisy. We shared a nice bottle of wine on the porch and had a nap before dinner. We returned from our dinner to see the inn beautifully lit up at night. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the porch. The tables were so cheerfully decorated and Suzette the innkeeper introduced us to a delighted spread of coffee, juice, fruit and these to die for Eggs on a Parmesan cloud! Not sure but I think her husband Roger is the cook. We didn't get to meet him though. Coincidentally we met a couple from back home who was also celebrating their wedding anniversary! They were enjoying their breakfast as we sadly had to say goodbye to the Montrose Inn. Til the next time!

Room Tip: We loved the Adelina room. It's upstairs so don't book it if you can't climb stairs
