There is nothing like this location in the city. It is a 5 star resort open to the general public. Great art, restaurants, and interesting businesses line this wonderful stroll along the ocean.

Some neat shops and places to dine. We enjoyed our stay there and it was close to the hotel so we went a few times!

While in Halifax recently we decided to go to the market on the waterfront. There were plenty of vendors and I made several purchases. I would love to go there again and I envy those who live close enough to go to the market weekly as there was so much I wanted to buy and/ or try. Plenty of parking spots but you may have to walk a bit as they fill up quickly.

We loved this boardwalk so much that we revised our travel plans just to explore and wander around it some more! It's very long, but it has tons of attractions, shop, and good restaurants. You can't comfortably see it in all in one day! We first started from the Casino and made our way towards the pier where the cruise ships dock, but we found it better going the other way. There's better parking by the pier, and that's where the farmer's market and the museum of immigration are located. It's fun when the cruise ships are in, as you can meet all sorts of travelers from all around the world.
