Victoria Park is located at the heart of Halifax around twenty minutes walking distance from the Cruise Terminal. The garden is arranged in the Victorian style with flowers and pavilion around. Local people come to relax in the quiet atmosphere from time to time.
Well worth the tour through the garden. Do it yourself and take your time. a guide is informative but hinder you're viewing.
Visited in June '19. A wonderful Victorian garden setting win the heart of Halifax. Catch some music being played, perhaps a wedding or two and always a favorite for new grad photos.
You can just relax and enjoy the setting with fountains, ponds and families enjoying the day.
As a gardener I love going to parks and this one did not disappoint. It was lovely. Obviously someone takes very good care of it and loves it. It was a joy to walk around and admire it. Thank you.
Halifax is full of beautiful parks and this is one of the nicest. Flowers and trees galore, trails and such beauty.
