Victoria Park in Halifax is small but very pleasant to stroll, sit & relax. Easy walking distance from the Cruise Ship terminal where we came into. It is also near a grocery store if you need to pick up a few items.
Had a wonderful walk thru the gardens..so pretty and relaxing a must see with all the beautiful colors of the flowers
Just the spot for a garden park walk in all it’s victorian splendor. Enjoy a wonderful and quiet cup of tea or coffee after all the the fun down at the harbor. The central city park is just a short but steep walk uphill from the harbor
All great cities have great pubic parks and Halifax is no exception. The land for this one was given to the city by Queen Victoria herself, hence the name. A respite from the heat and hectic pace of everyday life, it is filled with shady trees, flowers, fountains, and interesting statuary. If you need a refreshing break from touring, this is worth a stop.
Beautiful, relaxing escape for the busy city life. Loved the concert. It is a very large area where you can relax, stroll the paths or just sit and listen to music.
