We stayed at The Halliburton for three days and then came back for a day before we left for home. The first room was in the main building and up a big flight of stairs and it was fine. There was a strange step to get in and out of the room. The second room was in the Lithgow building and it was wonderful. Our first encounter was not the best with the front desk but subsequent ones were better than good.
The location was amazing for walking everywhere! And we did!
The breakfasts were ok. The room is nice and comfortable but the offerings are always the same-hard cooked eggs, juices, breads and bagels, beans etc. Everything was fresh and laid out nicely. No complaints there.
Parking was free and convenient.
If it had been warm, there were nice outside spaces to hang out.
If you can’t handle stairs, it’s not an easy place to stay.
And no one to help with luggage.
