Cute place. Wonderful soups and sandwiches. I had the tomato bisque soup with the Thai chicken wrap and hubby had the Italian wedding soup and club house. Very generous portions of fresh tasty food.

I highly recommend the BALT, Bacon Avocado Lettuce Tomato. Generous with all the fillings and OMG that bread!! A whole grain bread sliced thick and they bring it to your table and you despair that you will ever be able to eat it because the slices are so thick. That’s because you are expecting that whole grain bread to be dense and heavy....but it is not!! I swear, I have never had a whole grain bread that was so fabulously light textured. Best sandwich bread ever. Honestly. Just trust me and have a sandwich, you won’t regret it.

We had heard some good reviews about this place so we decided to try it. The service was excellent, as was the ambiance.
We each had the two soups of the day and the sanwich choice.
The sandwich was good, although difficult to eat without a knife and fork. Neither one of us could finish the soups. We are far from difficult when it comes to eating at different types of restaurants. But, we recommend that this restaurant should offer some standard gourmet soups as well as the exotic types they had on the menu.

Soups, sandwiches and salads are the specialty along with many tasty deserts at this cafe located in the oldest building in the town which was once the capital of NS.

This restaurant looks like nothing from the outside but once you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff and excellent food. I had the half Club Sandwich with salad and then splurged on a Pumpkin scone for dessert! Others had the wrap and some had the Lemon Meringue Pie!

The Baked goods are all made on side and taste very fresh.
