Variety of baked goods are available. One definitely should try from different sandwiches they offer. Owners are very friendly and helpful with the menu selections. It is a piece of Europe in Annapolis Royal.

We went there following a somewhat positive reviews and craving for German food, however, we are very disappointed.
The food quality is very low, the Schnitzel is swimming in oil, the potato salad is more sauce than potatoes and green salad is dull.
Will never go there again.

Had lunch here, also bought pastries from the bakery. One person serving in a busy restaurant meant service was slow, but food tasted good.

We stopped for a late lunch, and the restaurant was busy, too busy for the one person serving and acting as cashier. We were looking for sandwiches, so didn't try any of the German fare, which may have been our mistake.

Service was slow, but that was understandable given the crowd and the understaffing, so no one seemed upset by it, including us. However, the waitress openly mocked my order, which frankly stunned us. We were going to order beer, but quickly decided against it given the attitude we encountered.

The sandwiches didn't come with anything, which we were aware of from the menu. However, they were also very small. Even given the higher food prices we found in N.S., for the price either they should be been more than a few bites, or have come with a small side or chips or something.

Since we were still hungry, we got a couple of pastries to go, the prices of which weren't posted anywhere. They were just okay. An unsatisfying choice in Annapolis Royal.

We had an early dinner here and took some pastry with us to snack on later. The service was good and the food better, It is a family run place and there is clearly a lot of pride in their place
and the food they prepare.
