Our adventure in the caves was only equaled by climbing Gros Morne mountain. We packed our caving helmets (lights are required) with the intent of exploring the caves. Finding it was a little challenging. The entrance is directly off of the TCH West (Trans Canada Highway) a little way past Confederation Dr. Look for yellow Hydro gates and a dirt road off to the right. Park outside the orange gates. The cave entrances are down the road to the right. The first entrance called 'the wet entrance' is not far off the road. The second 'tight squeeze' and third 'upright' was through a path in the woods, off to the right of the pipeline. Don't confuse a large opening that narrows sharply with water rushing as the second entrance. The path is a little farther along and it heads off into the woods, not down into a gully. The upright entrance gives you the best opportunity to explore. However, when we were there, you couldn't explore too far without getting wet. The level of water changes, so prepare. I know guides are recommended for those who are unfamiliar with these caves. I can understand this. Some areas are difficult, and you need to take note of landmarks if exploring alone. Be safe and enjoy!

Okay, description is a bit dramatic - Tim was an excellent guide explaining how the caves formed and took me into the caves along the Corner Brook stream. Highly recommend.

Me and the boys took a trip to see the caves in the winter time. It was so kool seeing ice crystals forming upwards and the hard ice so we could walk on yet the water was running below. Epic day.

Myself, the GF and two of the boys decided to hire a local guide by the name of Greg Pike to guide to guide us through the Corner Brook Caves. I have lived most of my 52 years in Corner Brook and had never made a trip there however had heard so much about the cave experience that I felt that it was time to go. We had heard about Greg through friends and called him and arranged a tour. Greg is without a doubt a professional!!! He introduced me to a secret world that was literally in my back yard. The GF and the boys are still talking about it. We are planning a trip back to Corner Brook in Aug 2015 and have already put the Corner Brook Caves and Greg on our must see.

Easy to book through Cycle Solutions. Transport and safety equipment provided by guides on an agreed upon time schedule. Easy adventure for our kids (10-14) and grandpa (77); be prepared to get wet feet and dirty pants!
