I've been to the lounge several times to listen to live jazz, and love the atmosphere there. Food is pricey, but a person can linger, and really enjoy the music. The lounge chairs are very comfortable.
Recent experience at the restaurant: A group of 9 arrived for our reservation at 11:30 on a Friday for lunch, thinking we would beat the lunch rush. The restaurant was not overly busy - less than 1/2 of the tables were full. For the most part, we knew what we wanted to eat. There were long gaps between getting the menus and having our order taken, finishing the meal and getting the dessert menu and desserts, and getting the bill. It took over 3.25 hours to get through soup, main course, and desert (not because we lingered of our own accord). We hadn't budgeted that much time on a weekday. Another group in the same area as us was in and out much more quickly - perhaps we should have said we were in a hurry.
Overall, we were satisfied with the food, though a salmon filet had to be sent back a couple of times because it was underdone, and the french onion soup seemed overly salty. They were good at acknowledging and adapting to dietary restrictions/allergies.
The dessert menu was sadly lacking in detail. "Blood Orange Cheesecake, Dark Chocolate" was not a dark chocolate cheesecake with a blood orange flavour, but rather a blood orange flavoured cheesecake with a dark chocolate crumb crust and a bit of dark chocolate drizzle on the plate. It was OK, but not what one would anticipate from the description. Fresh ice cream was a hit - lots of nuts in the macadamia nut ice cream. Dessert plating/presentation was lovely.
